Minimal surroundings and clean lines create a calm, focused atmosphere, where gestures, pauses, and subtle expressions define the moment. A Leica camera appears throughout the series, shifting between object and symbol—reflecting both Kaufmann’s deep connection to the brand and my own photographic approach, working exclusively with Leica.
It was an honor to portray the man widely regarded as instrumental in preserving the legacy of this iconic camera brand.
